What is color analysis?
Color analysis (also called personal color analysis or seasonal color analysis) is a method of determining which colors complement your natural features — skin tone, hair color, and eye color. AuraVibe uses 12-season color theory, which goes beyond the basic 4 seasons (Spring, Summer, Autumn, Winter) to include sub-seasons like Soft Summer, Deep Autumn, and Bright Spring. This gives you a highly personalized palette of colors that make you look your best.
How does AI body shape analysis work?
Our AI analyzes a full-body photo to determine your body proportions and classify your body type using the Kibbe and Mathis methodology. It looks at shoulder width, waist definition, hip proportion, and overall silhouette to provide personalized recommendations on the best clothing cuts, silhouettes, and styles for your unique proportions. Your photo is processed securely and never stored on our servers.
Is my photo data safe?
Absolutely. Your photos are transmitted securely via HTTPS and processed by our AI in real-time. For most photos, we do not store them on our servers after analysis is complete — the original photos are discarded immediately after processing. The one exception: if you separately consent to keep a reference photo so you can request a verified re-analysis later, we store that one photo securely until you delete it, withdraw consent, or delete your account (see our Privacy Policy). Your analysis results are saved to your private account so you can access them anytime. We use Firebase Authentication and Firestore security rules to ensure only you can access your data.
Can I use this on my phone?
Yes! AuraVibe is available as a native Android app with a built-in camera for taking photos directly. The web app at auravibe.dev works on any device with a browser — desktop, tablet, or mobile. Your account and analysis history sync seamlessly between the mobile app and web app.
What's included in the free tier?
Every account includes one full color analysis at no cost — your color season, best colors, and colors to avoid, saved to your account for good. If your appearance genuinely changes, you can request a verified re-analysis (see below). You also get 10 style matches and questions per month, drawn from one shared monthly pool. Body shape analysis is available with any premium plan.
How accurate is the AI analysis?
Our AI has been specially trained for color and body shape analysis. For best results, use a photo with good, natural lighting and a neutral background. Color analysis accuracy improves with clear, well-lit photos where your face is clearly visible without heavy makeup. Body shape analysis works best with form-fitting clothing and a straight-on pose.
